I also like to wear pink and purple tights that display my well rounded whiskey gut. It turns the chickadees on, dontcha know? I jes hate those fundys and xtans because they fooled a HICCUP, bright guy like me fer so many years.

You know that I am right and you are just unwilling to admit that all of us have accountability to God for our life and actions. You need to walk into a Bible teaching church and get acquainted with your Lord and saviour.
Then you will know what I have been telling you is true.

Choices:
Too young to understand: Tell the child that the person has gone to be with God.
Old enough to understand: No one except God knows if "...." they accepted our Lord as their saviour.
Both factual.

Wouldn't you rather let your sweet old mom go out peaceful and happy? If any of these buddies of yours went up to her and screamed in her face wouldn't you bust them? Yet, this is what you encourage here!
I see people here who have a obvious goal of destroying people by ripping away their last vestiges of hope. If you have nothing to offer a drowning person but an anchor what's the point?
If I thought that there was no God or nothing to affect the future of my family and fellow JWs then I would leave them in their relative zone of happiness in the Borg.
Indeed, if one believes there is no God, then why make other's miserable and maybe suicidal when what they don't know won't hurt them?
Of course, if the Borg had not been a lie in the first place....The WTS is responsible for that suffering but I lay some of the blame for depression and suicides right at the feet of those who are so anxious to destroy another person's world-view with nothing better to offer.

This place and those in it are not worth losing your chance to embrace Christ. In fact, were you to gain knowledge of Him you would certainly cause some here to re-think their own life's course.

someone i met on witnet last year is having struggles.
i will not reveal his real name or location, but suffice it to say he is going through the worst of it now and needs your prayers or buddhist chants or whatever.. a little background, he first wrote me the below post, which i saved because i thought he had balls to write and question me, and i was a little paranoid, wondering if he was witnet thought police.. but, i sensed something different about him, that he really needed to ask questions.

If this guy is anywhere within 100 miles of Pittsburgh or East Ohio I would be happy to meet him, or call him if he would like. My friends and I would be happy to pray for him in the meantime.
He is actually much better off to have his eyes open wide. Now he knows what this cult does to people. Imagine him finding this out after the honeymoon!
